Often dubbed the “best football league in the world”, Premier League is an English professional league for men’s association football clubs. Founded in February 20 1992, this immensely popular league is contested by 20 clubs. Seasons run from August to May.
The league is operated as a corporation and is owned by the 20 member clubs. Each club is a shareholder. Clubs elect a chairman, chief executive and board of directors to oversee the day to day operations of the league. Premier league clubs are among the richest in the world. Its players are paid very well. These clubs have immensely talented players.
