Monaco Grand Prix is one of the prestigious racing events in the world. First held in 1929, it is an immensely popular Formula One race. The 72nd running of the Grand Prix was held between May 22nd and 25th. It was on the meandering streets of Monte Carlo.
Lovers of this motor sport had many options at their disposal to view this event. There was grandstand seating to private terrace suits overlooking the circuit. One unique viewing opportunity was offered by yacht brokerage and charter firm Floating Life.
Floating Life offered two of its boats: Ocean Emerald and Ocean Sapphire for charter during the event. Built between 2009 and 2011, these 135 feet yachts feature an amazing and bold futuristic design.
These yachts’ interior and decks offered great opportunity for people to enjoy the race. These yachts have 2,500 square feet of exterior space. Extensive floor to ceiling walls inside the yachts provided great panoramic views and plenty of natural light. Around 12 guests enjoyed the event in style comfort.
The full beam owner’s suites featured two outdoor terraces, enabling people to watch the event in a more private setting. The weekly base price was about $180,000.
