They teach the God’s principles on how to get out of poverty, in which Jesus paid the price for us against sin as well as poverty. Don’t come against them, learn from them. I am so glad, when my pastors, excel…..the anointing flows from the top. I would never go to a church with a broke preacher. If we as the Body of Christ are broke, how can we help those who are less fortunate than us.

Well I slightly disagree there. It says nowhere in the bible verbatim “Jesus was a broke teacher” But Jesus does say this about himself.

“If we as the Body of Christ are broke, how can we help those who are less fortunate than us.” It’s not necessarily about helping those less fortunate than us in Money, although of course, having money to give away is not a bad thing. It’s about following Jesus and being a christian in deeds and truth. (1 John. 3:18) and that your flesh in this world can be dead so that you might live in the coming, so that your life may be lead in the spirit. (Mathew 10:37-39 and Romans 8:1)
Just because some might not be able to give money in this world, does not make them any smaller in the comming. Let’s just take a look at the poor widow

No, I don’t love wealth. I love Jesus. And he loves me. And because, He loves me, he has given me unmerited favor to get wealth. So that I can establish His covenant here on the earth (Deut 8:18) The word for power is grace/unmerited favor. My grandmother use to say all the time “It takes money to run my business”. It takes money to get the gospel to the world. To pay for television time, etc. The money belongs to us…..I don’t love the money. The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. I am the just. And like all of these ministers, we use the money to help people. Jesus is not poor anymore. He was only poor, when He took our sins, and poverty and diseases upon him. So that we could go free from them. I would ask you to open up your heart and allow God to flood you with marvelous light.
Also, and all that name themselves Christians, should stop this incessant criticizing and condemning these ministers. Jesus said, that He left one commandment, that we would love one another, as He has loved us. He said that the world would know us through the love that we have with one another. If you and others like you, don’t want to be rich or prosperous (Abraham was prosperous in goods, and not spiritual prosperity, only….because you could see it)., do so for those who are in need – , to help us preach the gospel. Stop criticizing preachers for having planes…….cause Father has chariots of fire. One last thing……God said we are to be imitators of Christ…….well Christ is not poor, as a matter of fact, no one is poor in heaven. God is a God of abundance.

that has freed them. Does not matter how poor you are. Raise your level
of thinking and you can raise your level of being. Those who remain

We are God’s children. He said I own cattle on a thousand hills. He said the gold is mine, the silver is mine. If you were a rich man, would your children have to be poor? Jesus said if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more your heavenly Father. To answer your question further Dean, we are in partnership with the Father. We are the ones to take His Word to the world. It takes money to get on tv, and satelites. And I might add, we do it all with commercials (the world has to use commercials). I studied at Oyedepo’s Covenant University and i can say categorically that the whole compound(church and school) was filled with Hypocrites. On one semester part scholarship which some student had been on was taken off cause they said the school cud not afford it. meanwhile that was the same year Oyedepo bought his 2nd private jet. I like Oyedepo as a person and i think he is a good business man. Its the ppl that follow church blindly that i pity. You mister Folorunso how much do u have i your acc that make you blab trash? Oyedepo would typically come to the school on Sunday nights and address us and tell us how the schools clinic is only for unbelievers cos children of God dont fall ill.. Yet when his wife slumped during one of the mid week services she was flown abroad for treatment… He for heal am na… My sister who attended same school still follows him blindly and think he is the reason for all the good things that have been happening to her. meanwhile the most salary she has received since graduating several years ago is probably 200k naira a month.. I do not worship at winners neither do i have any reason to call Oyedepo “Papa” as he is fondly called yet i have never made as little as 200k in a month since finishing school…..The church and school business is booming so much that he put his very young daughter in the administration of covenant university jumping ahead of a lot of older people that have worked there for years and his other son who has bought beer for me and a couple of other friends several years ago at Gowon estate in now heading one of his churches….. I dont see anything wrong with family business though..i would do same for my kids……. Does anybody remember the part of the bible when Jesus got angry cos people where turning the temple of God to business place? My father do not teach me to follow fame, wealth and riches but to forsake all those and search the truth that brings life. My father taught me that you need not wear a thousand dollar dress and a pulpit to preach His words. I have one shoe and not a room to live and zero dollar income/pay keeps me from saying that i look like the lily of the valley much beautiful than Solomon in his grandest attires. Your own testimony sounds that money is number one for U. The people in danger of worshiping money are those claim to possess. It Jesus said that it was difficult for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God, so the rich are more at risk of worshiping money. Jesus never preached to people to amass wealth, He spoke against it and He encouraged people to store in heaven. Look at His declaration about the Widow’s two mites.

Alex, we are already rich. When we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we became as He is. (1John 4:17). As He is so are we in this world. God saw fit to put us in Him (Jesus). By the blood of Jesus, we have been made Righteous, Healty, wealthy, redeemed, etc. Many of the ministers are writers, and such. They have many streams of income. Not everyone will be moniterially rich. But it is available. Just like not all Christians, will walk in Divine Health. It is available. We need to stop all this strife about money. If you don’t want it….that is alright. It is a choice. Stop talking about these ministers – because they are our brothers in Christ. Jesus said that the world will know us by our love that we have for the brethren. The world hears and sees us, and the strife that we have in the family. We have not been called to judge one another. If you are not in agreement, that is fine. But stop condemning these men of God. Because you stop others who need to have hope, and need to hear the message they are preaching, from listening. No, God certainly did not want his people to suffer unjustly, and he will provide his people with what they need. But need is placed in the context of service to him. People on a mission may need food and some form of shelter. Some people might need access to technology in order to spread the message. I don’t understand why an individual needs not one but two private jets. But let me put it in a different way. Not all Christians must be poor. But some are called to live in poverty for the sake of the kingdom. When The Church in Europe was in dissarray consumed by corruption in the 12th century, it was not the shmancy popes and the kings that revived her; it was largely through the orders of Francis and Dominic, and these guys were practically beggar monks who travelled around the country preaching repentance. It was through them that a major revival came. Why was this? People saw the wealthy in the Church not as holy men, but greedy, petty men. In other words, wealth did not add to credibility. It added to disdain. but a man who is poor and on fire for Christ, now that is a man we know is not going to be corrupt. And so the people listened to these preachers who both talked and walked the Gospel.
Others are led not just to poverty, but to martyrdom. Tell me, if God does not want Christians to be poor, how could he want them to be dead? And yet this is what happened through much of the early history of the Church. It happened Whenever the Church was brought to new places, particularly in Asia and in Africa. Yet not only does God allow it, Christ says that’s what we should expect when we become Christians. Assume even some of the apostles were wealthy. How did it end for them? All but one were martyred, and John was exiled. Prosperity? More likely in the next world.
I look at my country (the United States) and while there are many Christians, most Americans are not all that faithful and have committed awful things. In the United States the government is not pursuing policies that run directly counter to the Gospel and its teaching on the family. In the United states, one in five unborn children are murdered through induced abortions. Their blood cries out to God, and maybe our nation will begin to witness the consequences, But for now, we remain the strongest and richest nation in the world. But then I look at the middle East, and I see a Christian people far more faithful than we ever were. These Christians have had to endure much for centuries since they had been under Muslim control. Yet what happens to them? In Syria and Iraq, they are routinely killed, their churches burned, their women raped, and their possession taken away if they attempt to escape. Tell me. Why is God allowing them to suffer like that, whereas in America, we continue to live (semi) freely? When will God make them rich? And will it matter, since so many have already died? These martyrs will receive a crown far greater than the ones we will receive. It is through the blood of martyrs that the seeds of Christianity grown and flourish. If and when the Church rises in the Middle East, it is because Christ worked in them and through their witness. heads will turn to them, and wonder what kind of man Christ must be that they would not only die for him, but also forgive the men killing them?
Ultimately, God places us where he wants us to be so that we might serve him. But not all of us will be placed in a mansion. Those of us that are should be as generous not as the rich men who put their money bags in the temple, giving out of their excess, but like the widow, who with her two pennies gave all that she had. Those of us that are not, are given other resources with which to bring souls to Christ. May we use them to the fullest! I cannot read the hearts of these pastors, but if they are withholding money merely to pamper themselves, all the while claiming to be so generous, They are little better than Annias and Saphira, and God will see to it that they get their just reserve.

The question of money was always in the Church of Christ a blessing or a curse. And there is not a black or white answer for it. There is no need to dive deep in the Bible picking examples such of King David, Solomon or using a verses that may affirm one statement or the other. God is a good God and he does bless his children because he loves them. Are all God’s blessing only spiritual or for the soul? No, of course not Jesus gave them wine, fish and bread beside healing, salvation and all other good stuff he did. Is wealth in terms of money a blessing that God can give? Yes he can and he sometimes would even like to give it more but the problem is that allot of us could not deal with it in a humble way and still have God and the heavenly kingdom as our first priority and main reason of our life. Isn’t it like that it is unfortunately when we are in need or in a difficult situation we get the closest to God. And once we do good we get arrogant proud or just lazy? This is also the reason why the bible calls money the root of all evil or why it is difficult for a rich to go to heaven. Why? Because it messes you up if you are not strong in God and give money the right value in your life.. This is why those TV preacher that focus on money may sound good and mention some bible verses in their preaches do not help people that are fragile. Good people, honest but still children in terms of knowing God and knowing his living word. Why? Because they messed them up, they bring them exactly where the world’s believe is: Money is what you need and money is what makes you happy and what you have to focus on. And that my beloved is wrong. We are called to preach Jesus, Jesus crucified and risen, the Savoir that died for our sins. That’s our mission. Giving the holy spirit the opportunity to touch the heart of those sad and so empty peoples out there, speaking words of love and life to them and to the people around them. This is our call this is our mission, this is what we should have as priority and desire in our heart. And if God then wants us to give more, more money a bigger house or whatever.. amen that is great, but this shall not drive us and make us loose the purpose of our calling. What does it help me to have a beautiful fast car but no anointing no fire and passion? I rather have an older car but when I pray for sick, possessed or sad people see the holy spirit making miracles, through such an unworthy human like I am. This is a deep honor and what I would call a amazing heavenly blessing. .. What we know is that he told us we will never miss anything. He will always provide, even if like Jesus we will need to barrow a couples of bucks from a fish to pay the IRS but he will always give us what we need. He has 5000 acres and a university that they compare to Oral Roberts and building another school campus in Africa. It’s obvious what people “hear” when they “read the bible” or any other religious text is a reflection of what’s in their heart and a telling sign of what their true character is. The selfish only hear about how life is all about receiving gods blessings thus becoming rich and receiving personal favors is the natural extension of this childish self centered thinking.
People who truly understand the real message recognize that it’s not about self aggrandizing oneself in glory and riches under the false guise of helping others. The story of the old woman who gave away a single coin being all her wealth vs the rich man who gave a large donation a tiny portion of his assets perfectly illustrates this.
So ask yourself out of these super rich pastors how many of them would
give up their wealth, houses, luxury cars, private jets, yachts &
ties to fame to alleviate the poverty of the masses if it really came

when i was young i gave all my money to preachers. Not only that, the preachers never stop asking, so i had to lean my friends and parents to help this preachers. Now they drive super cars and i am broke but never do they realize that i sacrifice my clothing, lunch, taxi fares to help them. I remember going 18 kilometers to church on foot with old cloths but they mock me and prophesied against me. my heart was so worried. when i had given all i had for his kingdom and had nothing left but little coins for offering and my life to God, their anger was on me. when i was in my best shape with my savior Jesus they never stop their prophesies that i was about to die. on hearing the news I fainted and people called me possessed. what is wrong with this generation? why do preachers loves to rob you? why do preachers always ask but never give? I learned my lessons the hard way. every one should help the poor and feed the hungry instead of giving to the ever increasing appetite of preachers. this preachers collect your money promising hundred fold in return and with this money they buy super cars, buy expensive houses and go for family vacation instead of helping the needy. I gave up going to Church long time ago because after all they are all excellent stockbrokers disguised as sheeps.

You also suppose to be a laborer for God. You took on that position. You suppose to be out their in our neighborhoods and communities, ‘working” uplifting the name of God, pleading the blood of Jesus over our children lives. You are speaking about politics but at least they are trying to create opportunities to help our children. Throughout biblical times, the Pharisees and the Sadducees were the rich and wealthy chief deacons and priest who set on the high seats of the synagogues and temples. They only cared for their wealth, fame and own prosperity, not teaching the lost people according to the true gospel God. The unrighteousness of these priest or preachers or whatever they call themselves, cause the land of Israel not to prosper and the people to perish with no prosperity or hope. This is the same behavior that these now a days preachers practice. Robbing God of His righteousness. These preachers in the Bible sought to destroy and kill Jesus or anyone else who did not abide by their man-made commandments and who taught the gospel of God. Modern day preachers are an extended version of these biblical people, killing the true gospel of God and His righteousness.

Why continue to go out to church building, giving these preachers your money. They suppose to give that ten percent to you. In the Bible these preachers were told to give ten percent to help the poor, the homeless, the fatherless, the widows, the strangers and the fatherless; and if they would give, God will open the windows of Heaven and pour them out blessings that they would not have enough room to receive. Since many preacher love quoting scriptures out of the Bible, did you all see where it says that “if a man does not work he should not eat and that also included preacher men. The Bible is not here to teach us how to live it is here to teach us how not to live. These preachers have become part of this world, creating their man-made commandment, following after their own spirit to satisfy their flesh, misleading many into betraying God.

I am the Lord, you follow the ways of your leaders, if you return to me I will return to you saith the Lord. God is not concern with our ritual, sacrifices, offerings, money or going to church buildings, The only thing God want us to do is to sacrifice our hearts into repentance. We can not find God in a building that is made by hands saith the Lord. We must worship God in truth and in the spirit. Church is not a building, it is people who live their lives according to the righteousness and gospel of Christ. The true believers of God is God’s Church. Church is in us and all around us. Church is abiding by the true ways of God. We must repent, The lord rejoice in repentance hearts. To enter into the church of God, pick up your Bibles and start reading for yourselves. The Bible preach and minister to your souls better than any preacher man. We do not have to give these preachers a dime, we only have to give God a little of our personal time. When we seek and learn God for ourselves, God has a special way of bringing clarity into our thoughts, He opens our eyes to see a brighter destiny. In such a wonderful way, God creates a path that leads us into everlasting prosperity.

How does it benefit us for these preachers to be stuck up behind church walls and TV screens. What good is it other than being another avenue to making these preachers rich, building multimillion dollar businesses and organizations. People in our neighborhoods and communities are dying and suffering. These people suppose to be out, pleading the blood over our children lives and uplifting the name of God in our neighborhoods and communities not in physical church buildings or on television screens.

I wonder many times what could make these preachers come from behind these physical church walls and television screens and join the many leaders and non-leaders who have devote unconditional time and appears to have exalted every avenue to assist in bringing some type of resolution to the death and destruction that plagues our streets and our children lives. If these preachers would go out into our communities and neighborhoods, in truth and in the spirit, and for the glory of God, and lift up their voices in an repentance way, we will start to see the glory, mercy and deliverance of God. The president, the chief of police, the mayor, the governor, community leaders, civil right leaders and so many more people have tried endlessly to help bring peace throughout our nation but they have not yet been successful. So when will these preachers see that they have replace God’s ways and language with their own ways and language and are the number one cause that this deadly plague is raging strong from one end of the earth to the next.

When are we going to stop paying tithes and offerings to these people, making them rich while we are suffering and struggling. Pay tithes and offerings according to God not man. God wants us to tithe our life to Him and Him only and offer our unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness and righteousness toward one another. God do not care about our money, or our rituals or sacrifices, God want us to sacrifice our hearts into repentance. A rich man came to Jesus and ask Him, Master what can I do to have eternal life. give up all your possessions and follow me saith the Lord. So do not be brainwashed into giving your blessing to these people. These people suppose to give that ten percent to help the poor, the widows, the homeless, the strangers and the passerby’s. Since these preachers want to follow the ways of the preachers in the Bible, they suppose to take all of their possessions to the forefront of their gate so the widow, the poor, the homeless and the fatherless can take until they are satisfied.

Jesus is and was GOD – MANIFEST in the flesh, therefore He was and is still RICH. His role on earth as son ( humanity ) was to suffer and save mankind, in this role He suffered poverty, rejection and died poor.
But as Son of God ( divinity ) He was and is RICH in all righteous things.
