The First Lady of Ruff Ryders; born Eve Jihan Jeffers, she is the inaugural winner of the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration in 2002 along with Gwen Stefani for the song “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” and ranked #48 among the “50 Greatest Women of the Video Era” by on VH1’s list. Eve’s acting credits include movies “Barbershop” and “Barbershop 2: Back in Business.” As a businesswoman she has achieved success with her clothing line “Fetish.”
Deidra Muriel Roper, best known by her stage name DJ Spinderella. In 1986 she became part of Salt-n-Pepa after the dismissal of DJ Latoya Hanson. She became the group’s DJ just in time for their first album. Taking on acting she has also made appearances in movies like “Stay Tuned” and “Kazaam.” She also co-hosted the radio show “The Backspin” on KKBT 100.3 in Los Angeles. In 1992 she had her first and only child with former NBA point guard Kenny Anderson.
