This stunning piano was made by Steinway for Chinese art collector Guo Qingxiang in 2007. It took three years to create this masterpiece. It is praised for its craftsmanship and acoustic quality. The piano’s rich acoustic quality is due to the specially designed soundboard, which was built using 40 layers of different woods from around the world.

Steinway’s Red Pops for (RED) parlor grand piano has an eye-catching red and white finish. This heavily-customized and strikingly beautiful musical instrument was bought ($1.925 million) by philanthropist Steward Rahr in 2013 at an auction held in New York to raise funds for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Africa.
