6) Space Barley by Sapporo – $110

This beer was brewed by Japanese brewery Sapporo and Russian scientists in the year 2006. A pack of six is priced at $110. The seeds of the barley from which the beer was made were kept in the International Space Station for five months, hence the name Space Barley. This was to study the possibility of self sustenance in space.

5) Utopias by Samuel Adams – $150

With an abv of 27 percent, Utopias was the strongest commercial beer when it was launched in the year 2002. This limited edition beer is made with caramel, Vienna, Moravian and Bavarian smoked malts. It is priced at $150 for a 700 ml bottle.
