4) Arsene Wenger – £8.3-million
After nine years without a trophy, Arsene Wenger and Arsenal ended that spell by beating Hull City 3-2 in the FA Cup Final. There had been whisperings that Wenger planned on leaving the club at the end of the 2014 season with supports questioning his ability and his contract expiring. However, after the FA Cup success the Frenchman extended his contract at the club until 2017. The Premier League’s longest serving manager, Wenger has been financially rewarded for his loyalty, earning £8.3-million a year and just under £40,000 a day. After finish the current season strongly Wenger will be looking to conquer the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
3) Pep Guardiola – £11.2-million
Guardiola had an incredibly successful first season in charge of Bayern Munich, guiding the club to Bundesliga and German Cup success. This season has been little different with Bayern steamrolling their way to the Bundesliga title again, and a return to Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final coming up. The Spaniard has constantly been linked with a move to Manchester City for the past few seasons but it has yet to materialise. One thing is for sure, if Guardiola did accept the overtures of the Premier League club he would almost certainly receive a wage increase on his current £11.2-million a year contract.
