Following on from the success of the headphones Beats Electronic has launched an online-streaming service called Beats Music to rival Spotify’s domination of the market. He is now worth $700 million after Apple acquired Beats headphone for $3 billion, a company he co-founded. According to Forbes’ 2014 Hip-Hop Cash Kings, Dr. Dre earned $620 million.
