6) Richard Benyon (MP) – £125 Million
Benyon has been the Conservative MP for Newbury since the 2005 election. He defeated the incumbent Liberal Democrat, David Rendel, with a majority of 12,248. He is the great-great grandson of former Conservative Prime Minister Lord Salisbury.
He serves as a director of the family controlled Englefield Charitable Trust. In late 2014 his family firm, Benyon Estate, was involved in controversy at the New Era Estate after trying to raise rent to be in line with the market. As of 2014 his net worth is £115m, according to the Sunday Times.
5) Lord Fink – £130 Million
Lord Fink serves as the Conservative Party treasurer having been appointed co-treasurer in 2009. For this he was made a life peer in 2011.
Fink is often credited with turning the Man Group into the powerhouse hedge fund it is currently viewed as during his spell as CEO between 2000 and 2007. In addition to his wealth, Fink is also known for his philanthropy having been involved with countless charitable causes throughout his career.
