According to Forbes’ estimates, Jordan is the first US professional athlete to become a billionaire thanks to deals with popular brands like Nike, Gatorade, Hanes and Upper Deck. The huge part of his wealth came from the Brand Jordan, a $1 billion (sales) sportswear partnership with Nike.
