Job search website CareerCast has compiled the list of the most stressful jobs in United States. The rankings were based on 11 different factors, from how much a person in a given career must travel for work, whether the job is subject to tight deadlines, workplace hazards, etc.
Here are the ten 10 most stressful jobs in America as of 2015, with their annual salary.
10) Taxi Driver – $22,820
The salary of a taxi driver is around $22,820. Taxi drivers’ job is stressful due to various reasons. Some of their clients tend to be demanding, forcing them to reach the destination within a certain time, despite bad driving conditions. Many taxi drivers work in the evening and during the weekend.
9) Police Officer – $55,270
Cops have to deal with criminals, most of whom are definitely not great human beings. Police work is dangerous, physically demanding and stressful. A police officer earns around $55,270.
