Vivien Leigh’s “Scarlett O’Hara” elegant black top from Victor Fleming’s 1939 epic movie “Gone with the Wind” sold for $36,900. This fashion item was created by Walter Plunkett, a prolific American costume designer. The memorabilia of this movie were a huge success at this event.
9) Steve McQueen’s “Virgil Hilts” Prison Shirt in “The Great Escape” ($49,200)
Many collectors were attracted to this “The Great Escape” item. It ultimately sold for $49,200. Another item from the actor’s memorabilia, the blue naval jumper worn in the movie “The Sand Pebbles” earned only $13,530.
