Technicon Design recognizes that the importance of digital design development and model making for automotive, industrial and MMI design has increased significantly. It offers top quality design services.
A new private jet concept by this international agency has solar panels fixed all over its fuselage. This plane does not have windows for passengers. The IXION windowless private jet was conceptualized by Technicon Design’s French office.
The fuselage from inside has large displays which uses external cameras to capture panoramic view of the space around the plane. The same is projected inside to offer immersive views to the passengers.
The images are beamed on to display panels on the cabin walls and ceiling. This gives flyers feeling that they are flying in a transparent plane. “The ethos of the project is simple, to challenge current thinking, and propose something a little different, but not just a fantasy… It has to be credible and relevant, yet provoke discussion,” said Technicon Design director Gareth Davies. “We quickly settled on the controversial yet interesting idea of removing the windows from the cabin and using existing or very near future technology to display the exterior environment to the inside surfaces of the cabin via external cameras”.
The innovative design of the IXION windowless private jet concept is admired by many experts worldwide. It definitely sounds exciting.
