Google is an immensely popular technology brand, which is an integral part of millions of people all over the world. In the month of February this year, this behemoth revealed a working prototype of its self-driving car.
This cute-looking vehicle is a two-seater. It looks like a mash-up of Steve Urkel’s car, Fiat 500 and a cartoon smiley face. This vehicle is not a production model. The company is manufacturing only around 100 cars as an experiment.
These cars do not have string wheel. You will not find brake or gas pedals in this vehicle. There are two seats. These vehicles are powered by an electric engine. The speed limit is set at 25 mph. The model is simplicity personified.
“On the inside, we’ve designed for learning, not luxury, so we’re light on creature comforts, but we’ll have two seats (with seatbelts), a space for passengers’ belongings, buttons to start and stop, and a screen that shows the route—and that’s about it,” says Chris Urmson, the director of the project. Anything environment-friendly is welcome!
