The red carpet was illuminated on Monday as celebrities donned glamourous tuxedos, and evening gowns from the world’s top designers at the 2014 Met Gala. From cropped gowns and whimsical lace, to edgy metallics and classic beaded embellishments, the annual event brought out the most fabulous celebrity fashion designs. The Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute’s annual fundraising event celebrated the work and legacy of Charles James known as “America’s First Couturier”. 1). Charlize Theron (Dior)
Charlize Theron graced the gala alongside Sean Penn wearing a classy gown from Dior. The gown a beautiful canvas of cream with contrasting blue and black accents. She completed the look with a clutch and wool jacket by Dior.
