Peugeot is a popular French car brand. It has been working on building environment-friendly models, without compromising on performance. Its Onyx Hybrid Sports Car Concept debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
This cool concept is a two-tone hybrid vehicle. It scores both in looks and performance. The car runs on 3.7-liter V8 diesel engine and electric motor. The diesel engine is located at the back of the car and the electric motor sits over the front axle. It gives out 600 horsepower to all the wheels plus 80 with the electrical unit. It is enough to reward those who crave speed.
Peugeot Onyx Hybrid Sports Car Concept’s two tones are flat black and copper; with minimalistic design. In fact its body is made of copper and carbon fiber. Its taunt lines give it a dynamic aspect. It is really cool.
Onyx Concept was named “best concept” by Autoweek, a well-known British magazine. The vehicle looks very attractive. It is beautiful, powerful and environment-friendly.
