Zambia is finding it difficult to cope up with challenges posed by increasing population. More than two-thirds of the country’s population lives below the poverty line. The good news is that the leaders of the nation are working on social programs to deal with the situation. Zambia charges 1.5 percent profit tax. Total tax burden is around 14.5 percent.
7) United Arab Emirates (14.1 %)
The UAE has a dynamic economy. It has the second largest economy in the GCC. Since its independence in 1971, the country’s economy has grown by nearly 231 times. UAE has the most diversified economy in the GCC. Like Bahrain, UAE does not charge any tax on profit. The labor tax is 14.1 percent.
