3) Maldives (9.3 %)
Tourism accounts for 28 percent of Maldives’ GDP. Maldives does not charge tax on profit. There is no labor tax. The total tax burden is 9.3 percent. Government revenues comes from import taxes, tourism taxes, and earnings on state owned enterprises.
